We enjoyed a great Memorial Day at Scott and Meggan's. It was great! They did a "special hot dogs from around the US" theme. It was pretty cool! They had so many toppings. Anyway, we enjoyed a nice day. We worked in the yard the Sunday before. It was such a gorgeous day that we both got sun burned. You need to be really careful when you are in the Colorado sun. We are doing some major projects in the yard. They guy before us basically had a crazy plan for the yard. He made this path out of rocks that begins nowhere and leads to nowhere. So we're taking out all those rocks.
So here's my weekly quiz:
1) If you were granted three wished from a genie what would they be?
I would wish that people would be granted health from their illnesses. I would also wish to have money to be able to grant some people with what they need. I would also wish to be able to travel around the world.
2) When you were growing up what did you want to be?
At one point I wanted to be an EMT, but most of the time I wanted to be a teacher.
3) Do you have many friends?
This is a funny question for me right now. I feel that I have a ton of acquaintances, but not many real close friends. It's been kinda crazy with all the moving around that I've done, and I truly wish that I could be closer to more people. It seems that distance can do some strange things to friendships.
4) Do you believe in soul mates?
Yes, I truly believe in soul mates. I feel that I found mine and even before we began dating we were somehow drawn to each other. Those were magical college memories.
5) Who are your favorite authors?
I have many, but one of my favorite authors from my childhood is Bill Pete. I love reading Jodi Picoult books, but I've read so many other great books recently by all different authors.
